Nissan Just Made The Almera Look Sportier With This New Variant 2022
The Philippines are still waiting for the all-new Nissan Almera to arrive (it is said to arrive in the next few months), but in Thailand, where it is assembled, they got a new sporty version called Almera Sportech.
Designed and developed by Autech Japan, the Almera Sportech benefits from improved styling with new front and rear bumpers, a glossy black front grille, and a sporty rear spoiler. Along with the Sportech logo on the trunk, it also has silver side mirrors and two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Almera Sportech opts for a predominantly black color scheme with dark gray stitching for contrast. It also gets dark metallic trim on the side air vents and piano black decoration on the shift knob and steering wheel spokes.
Mechanically, the Almera Sportech does not undergo any adjustment. So, for the Thai market, it gets a turbocharged HRA0 engine with 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. It is also equipped with an idle-stop function. The only gearbox is an Xtronic CVT with integrated step logic for smoother gear changes.
